Charter conditions

Apart from using the boats for the Melges Tour it is also possible to charter them (including the trailer) any time during the year for training or racing in the Czech Republic or abroad. The stated price list is fixed. Participants of the Melges Tour have 50% discount on the charter fee. This discount does not have to be necessarily applied to the terms of World or European Championships. For the World Championship 2008 the discount is 50%.

Payment Conditions:

50% of the charter fee up to 5 days after placing the order
50% of the charter fee - latest 30 days before the charter starting date.

Charter Cancellation:

30% of the charter fee for termination up to 60 days before the charter starting date
50% of the charter fee for termination up to 45 days before the charter starting date
100% of the charter fee for termination less than 30 days before the charter starting date

Regarding the multiple use of Melges 24 boats it is necessary to strictly follow the stated conditions of payment and cancellation fees.

Deposit:

The amount is determined by the insurance contract and equals to 1.200€. The deposit has to be paid in cash or bank transfer before taking over the boat. The deposit is refundable up to 14 days after returning the boat.

Company YFA reserves the right to cancel an ordered charter up to 30 days before the charter starting date without obligation to specify the reason. In such case all expenditure incurred by that time shall be refunded to the client.
